Terva towel is Lapuan Kankurit's innovation material and it has become extremely popular! The combination of linen, tencel and cotton creates a perfect hand towel , the kind you never imagined existed. A light, quick-drying towel is a practical, beautiful and environmentally friendly choice. In the material developed by Lapuan Kankurit, tencel has been used alongside absorbent linen. Tencel is a European innovation that is made from wood fiber using environmentally friendly methods. Lapuan Kankurit combined these two fibers and developed a wonderful, soft and absorbent towel material that takes the pleasure of bathing to a whole new level.
Why linen? Linen is an ecological choice.
- Flax cultivation binds 250,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions from the air per year in Europe and it is a completely biodegradable material. It leaves no waste at all.
- Linen is a strong natural fiber that shines beautifully and repels dirt. As a bath towel, it feels pleasant and effectively absorbs moisture and dries very quickly.
- Linen fiber is strong and inflexible. 100% washed linen is a relaxed, easy and stylish material. Linen lasts from generation to generation, it softens and gets better with use over the years.
